“Pilot” for Mission-themed ‘94110’ debuts
April 3, 2017
Back in 2015, fliers popped up in the neighborhood advertising a casting call for a supposed pilot about “six leading technology executives living, learning and loving together in San Francisco’s Mission District.” KQED pegged it as a possible prank, and well it quite likely is one, but now you get to see the end product […]

Startup powered down? Submitted by Sandheep who says: If you were wondering whether techies have changed the Mission, look no further than the latest giveaway on Capp Street. A server rack. That’s what Missionites are throwing out these days. On Capp Street. Jesus.

October 15, 2015
20Mission runs a retail space that accepts Bitcoin that I wrote about in August. But what’s up with its SRO-turned-hacker-hostel above it? The second installment of a video series called “Hacker Lairs” now offers a three-minute look inside. Posted to YouTube on Oct. 3, the video begins with a woman rather enthusiastically making a purchase in […]
About that Zuckerberg security detail
September 28, 2015
SFist’s post this morning about hostile tech fliers that have popped up in the Mission reminded me of this gem spotted last week near 16th and Mission streets. I’m guessing Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg won’t be calling off that huge, 24-hour security team outside his Liberty Hill home anytime soon.
