According to police, a woman was attacked just before 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Bryant Street Wednesday by a would-be pimp who told her she was going to start working for him. When she pulled away, he allegedly beat her with a cell phone charger wrapped around his hand. Several of the woman’s teeth were knocked out and she suffered a cut to the back of her head but her injuries were not life threatening. The 37-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene.
